VAKTBUA DIALOG - Bokbad med Sophus Jensen

Vaktbua Dialog welcomes you to a book conversation with Sophus Jensen about his latest book, "PÅ VILLE VEIER og fire andre fortellinger". The host is Roy Søbstad, cartoonist and writer. Kjell Sørgaard and Trond Breen provide the musical interludes. Wow—what a great early evening this will be! FREE ENTRY AND COFFEE! Sophus Jensen (born 1963) has previously written two non-fiction books about Kristiansand’s pop and rock history. The first, Full rulle og bånn gnu, was published in 2010 and covered the years 1957–1992. Part 2, Full pakke og stinn brakke, was published in 2018 and covered the period 1992–2012. In 2022, Jensen published the genre-defying book "Kieran og drømmen om Cionmaonoise". The story is set in early medieval Ireland. It tells of powerful kings, warlike clan chiefs, learned monks and mythical beings. Despite the book’s diverse cast of characters, it is above all the story of a little boy with a big dream. "På Ville Veier og fire andre fortellinger" is Sophus Jensen’s first collection of short stories. In this book, you’ll meet a group of people who each, in their own way, experience the loss of their illusions. All of Jensen’s books will be available for sale at the event. WELCOME!
